Description
*PLEASE NOTE! This bead has an approximate 8mm hole!* Hello earthling and thank you for peeking into my shop! It means a lot to me to have you here. You’re looking upon a little earthy woodwork created by my own bare two hands, from scratch. From branch to bead, I form these ‘wooden babies’ with outmost love and intention. Due to the fact that these beads are completely handmade, you WILL find imperfections, some of them are a tad wobbly, some of them aren’t formed as a perfect oblong or circle shape. Please, I invite you to look at these ‘imperfections’ I hope you do likewise at yourself: perfectly imperfect and imperfectly perfect, we are unique and here to take shape as we feel drawn to. After shaping, I engrave my wooden babies by hand: never a stamp, never a laser and never do I use ink for their drawings. Occasionally, and since recent more than ever, I feel called to touch the bead with acrylic paint for some extra detail and layer to its aura. Finally, I use lacquer spray on the OUTER surface of the bead. I do not lacquer the inside of these beads in order to protect your locks, as well as due to the difficulty of ending with a neat result. It is surprisingly hard to lacquer a hole! 😉 This does mean that your bead can withstand light rain/splatter, but for durabality, I would advise against swimming or showering while wearing our beads. Our wooden babies can be customized! Do you have a vision, dream in mind? Let me know and let’s work together to birth it to matter. Feel free to drop me a note by sending me a private message. Thank you ever so much for your support all ways, Rowan
